في ليلة لم أنم فيها حتى الفجر، أحطتُ نفسي بألوان فان خوخ وموسيقاه وقصصه. الطاولة أمامي، الشمعدان، الضوء، والشاي العصري — وقلمي لم يتوقف. "شاي العصرية" ليست نسخة ولا تأثراً سطحياً، بل هي ما يحدث حين تُصبح الفنانة جزءاً من اللحظة التي ترسمها.

I stayed awake until dawn surrounded by Van Gogh's colours, his music, and his stories. The table before me, the candlestick, the light, the afternoon tea — and my brush never stopped. "Afternoon Tea" is not a copy or a surface reference. It is what happens when the artist becomes part of the moment she is painting.
